“Hua Susu, once I gouge out your eyes, I want a divorce!” An icy, furious voice rang out beside Hua Susu’s ear.

At these words, Hua Susu frowned, instantly growing irritated.

Who was this, so tactless as to disturb her dreams at the crack of dawn?

With a face full of annoyance, Hua Susu opened her eyes, ready to unleash a tirade, but the sight before her made her pupils contract in shock.

What was going on here?

Kneeling on the ground was a man dressed in green, wearing a gray, furry headband, his collar thrown wide open. Under the natural light, his bronzed eight-pack abs looked wild and sensual.

Hua Susu couldn’t help but drool a little—everything was perfect, except for the man’s bloodshot eyes, seething with rage, with fresh blood seeping from the corners.

The surroundings were unfamiliar, and only then did Hua Susu recall that she’d just closed a major deal and had ordered a “model boy” to reward herself.

But since when had these model boys gotten so competitive with their costumes?

Had they started cosplaying now?

It seemed the economy really was in trouble, forcing even model boys to innovate their marketing to attract clients.

She had to admit, the fur on those ears looked impressively lifelike. Clearly, they’d invested some effort this time, unlike her last experience where they’d slapped together a shoddy throat collar. That had been poorly made and half-hearted.

Alright, she’d been planning to let her membership lapse, but for this kind of dedication, she’d renew after all.

Looking at the man before her, she raised her hand with a hint of bravado and said, “Don’t cry, I’ve agreed. Bring it over.”

She waved her hand for quite some time, but the man didn’t move an inch.

Hua Susu frowned again—was this really a professional model boy? So unresponsive?

She’d already extended her hand, yet he just stood there, not even passing her the thing.

Forget it. Since he’d put in so much effort, she’d cut him some slack today.

She arched her brow and reminded him, “Bring me a pen, I’m ready to sign.”

So clueless—he must be new.

Xin Bai, upon hearing this, was incredulous. “You really agree to sign?”

Could this vicious woman be so agreeable today?

His expression was full of disbelief. Watching his awkward acting, Hua Susu was now certain he was a newcomer.

She was about to nod and reply with a smile when suddenly a tense, urgent voice sounded from the overhead communicator: “Xin Bai, don’t trust her! This viper wants to gouge out your eyes for Ruan Nan—there’s no way she’d agree to divorce so easily!”

“That’s right, there’s definitely a scheme here. If you divorce, you’ll have no way out but death!”

“Hold on, Que Qing and I will be back soon,” another heavy voice followed.

Gouge out eyes?

Divorce?

Was this some kind of immersive roleplay?

This club really had a lot of tricks up its sleeve.

Tsk, the economy must really be getting worse.

The setup was certainly dramatic, but she wasn’t a fan of such over-the-top performances. Hua Susu was about to decline when an arrogant voice called out from outside, “Princess, please save Senior Ruan—if you wait any longer, he’ll go blind.”

Senior Ruan? Who was that?

A different subplot, perhaps.

Hua Susu looked up in the direction of the voice and saw a delicate-looking man walk by, wearing a cat-ear headband. Though the ears were a bit ugly, they were still fluffy.

She couldn’t help but grumble inwardly—was this club going overboard in the name of novelty? Everyone was wearing headbands, as if obsessed with cosplay.

All she’d wanted was a good-looking, quiet model boy—not such an enthusiastic performer.

Still, with so much variety, maybe she’d consider a monthly rotation—change things up every month.

As she pondered, a crisp electronic voice sounded in her mind.

“Ding! Congratulations, host, for successfully activating the Spiritual Companion Growth System.”

Spiritual companion? What nonsense was that?

Before she could react, a torrent of information surged into her mind.

Wait, what was happening?

How had she transmigrated into a novel in the blink of an eye?

And not just any novel, but a Mary Sue interstellar military academy story.

In this book, the protagonist Su Leyao was a natural heartthrob—pure, kind, and brave in the face of power—which made all the outstanding beastmen fall head over heels for her.

Because of her irresistible charm, the beastmen vied to contract with her, and she ended up with thirty beast-husbands at once. Her spiritual power grew ever stronger, and she eventually became the most powerful comfort-female in the interstellar world, living a shamelessly blissful life with her beast-husbands.

As for her, she was merely a vicious cannon-fodder supporting character.

Her mother, Hua Li, was the queen of Blue Nuo, one of the top three most powerful planets in the galaxy.

Because she was the only female, Hua Li went to great lengths to select several beast-husbands for her early on, hoping she would study hard at the Interstellar Academy, improve her spiritual power, and be ready to inherit the responsibilities of the planet.

But she looked down on the well-matched beast-husbands her mother had so carefully chosen.

She felt they were all forced on her by her mother, and besides, if not for their noble backgrounds, they wouldn’t even be at this academy.

Instead, she admired the “phoenix man” Ruan Nan, who had climbed up from the bottom to attend the school. Anything good she had, she would look eagerly to offer to him. Even though he never spared her a glance, she was content, convinced he was principled and unswayed by wealth and power.

She was devoted to Ruan Nan, yet treated her own beast-husbands terribly—not only withholding even the basic monthly comfort, but also beating and scolding them at will.

Whenever they failed to meet her expectations, she’d torture them wantonly—electric shocks, tossing them into wormholes, burning them with fire—she spared no cruelty. Unsurprisingly, the beast-husbands held no affection for her.

Later, driven by jealousy, she tampered with the protagonist’s hovercar, nearly causing Su Leyao’s death.

When the protagonist’s beast-husbands found out, they secretly had her exiled to a trash planet infested with insectoids, arranging for a “chance” encounter with the insectoids that led to her death.

Her beast-husbands watched as she was attacked by the insectoids, not one of them lifting a finger to help. They chose instead to die with her out of sheer bad luck.

After absorbing all of her character’s plotlines, Hua Susu felt only contempt for the original’s lovesick stupidity and her infatuation with the so-called “phoenix man.”

She had an entire planet to inherit, yet was foolish enough to fall for a pretentious upstart.

What a waste of a winning hand!

In Hua Susu’s book, men were merely seasoning for life—a bit to add flavor when things got bland or bitter, never someone who could dictate her life.

What a joke—there were plenty of men out there. Why give up an ocean for a single drop?

Before her eyes, Ruan Nan’s vision had been injured, and he kept hinting that her own beast-husband, Xin Bai, had eyes that could cure his blindness.

Upon learning this, the original was stupid enough to actually try and gouge out Xin Bai’s eyes to give them to that “phoenix man”!

But Xin Bai carried the blood of the ancient Cang Wolf; his eyes could see through disguises and expose mutant corpses. The “phoenix man” had calculated perfectly—if he got those eyes, he’d have x-ray vision.

Bah! Shameless!

Such manipulations were outrageous, yet he still had the nerve to feign nobility.

What a hypocritical and scheming “phoenix man”!
