Ten Type-D Enhancement Potions—Synthesis Upgrade!
“Synthesis: 5 Type-C Advanced Enhancement Potions.”
【Type-C Advanced Enhancement Potion: The second stage of enhancement begins. Explore the mysteries of your genes and pierce the veil of genetic obscurity!
Use powerful energy to break through the shackles of the first genetic sequence and unleash unimaginable power!
The power each person obtains will be different.
At this stage, every enhancement must be used together with a Type-D Enhancement Potion.
Enhancing with one Type-C Advanced Enhancement Potion requires two Type-D Enhancement Solutions to repair the genes.
This stage allows for six enhancements, completely unlocking the origin of the genes and strengthening the first genetic sequence!
Only after fully developing the first genetic sequence can one enter the third stage and break through to the second genetic sequence.
This stage is divided into three levels and three sequences, completely liberating the power of the genetic origin!
Each enhancement must be spaced five days apart. This is second-dimensional technology!】
Su Cheng had not expected that this enhancement potion would have to be used together with Type-D Enhancement Potions.
Not only that, but the second stage of enhancement could actually grant special abilities!
He wondered what his ability would be.
This synthesis upgrade had revealed far too much information.
It was an assault on the first genetic sequence, and there were three sequences in total.
This very likely meant that every genetic sequence possessed a special ability!
Once all three sequences were completely broken through, the power of the genetic origin could be fully unlocked!
The first stage allowed for six enhancements in total, after which the first genetic sequence would be completely opened.
However, there was an interval between each enhancement: one could only enhance once every five days.
To complete all the enhancements would take at least a month.
It seemed that even with Type-D Enhancement Potions repairing the damage, breaking through the genetic sequences still inflicted considerable harm and required time to heal.
After changing into his everyday clothes, Su Cheng mounted his little electric scooter and headed for the Ruined City.
He still needed two Type-D Enhancement Potions. Buying sixty-four bottles of inferior nutritional solution would be enough.
It was a small quantity, so there should be no problem.
When he arrived at Kangba Foods again, he discovered that Kangba was not in the shop.
A fat woman had taken over the selling.
The fat woman smiled politely. “Hello, handsome. What would you like to buy?”
“Sixty-four bottles of inferior nutritional solution.”
“Buying so much at once must cost quite a bit. Are you stocking up for the winter?”
Su Cheng nodded.
The fat woman handed him the cloth bag containing the nutritional solution. “I’m sorry. The man of the house fell ill, and the shop is short of money, so we can only use a cloth bag for now.”
Su Cheng said nothing. After transferring the money, he took the bag and left.
It seemed Zhang Jie had given Kangba a thorough beating.

Even if he had been seriously injured, there was no way a shopkeeper could have fallen into such poverty.
Most likely, Zhang Jie had also demanded a rather generous amount of compensation for himself.
The two hundred bottles of inferior nutritional solution he had sent over were probably the cheapest available.
Friends?
Su Cheng did not believe Zhang Jie’s talk of being “good” friends.
They were merely using each other.
Only when two people held value for one another could they be called friends.
Su Cheng treated Zhang Jie as a weapon, and the other man could not possibly have been unaware of that.
What Zhang Jie wanted was the ability to purchase high-purity nutritional solution.
After working as a repairman for so many years, Su Cheng had encountered every kind of person.
He was not one of those clear-eyed yet foolish twenty-year-old university students from the Old Era.
He had just parked his vehicle outside his home when he saw three desert four-wheel-drive motorcycles approaching.
Two men leaped off them.
“Hey, kid. Time to pay up.”
People from the Death Rock Gang?
They had arrived quickly. He wondered how many of them had gone there last night.
Su Cheng glanced at the other residents in the distance who were also being asked for money.
“What are you looking at? Hurry up and hand over the damn money!”
Su Cheng said impatiently, “The Wild Ghosts have always been the ones collecting the money. Who are you?”
The man with ten piercings across his face snarled, “Damn it, keep running your mouth and I’ll cripple you!”
“Don’t rush.”
The blond man beside him grabbed his arm, then looked at Su Cheng. “The Wild Ghosts were indeed the ones collecting before, but the Wild Ghost is dead now.”
“The Wild Ghost is dead?”
Su Cheng looked surprised. “How is that possible? He came here just four days ago. You’re trying to trick me into paying you, aren’t you?”
The pierced man roared, “You bastard, you think we’re tricking you? Are you looking to die?”
Su Cheng said coldly, “I’m only going to pay one share. If you want the money, settle it with the Wild Ghost.”
“All right. Then let me ask you a few questions. Other than four days ago, have you seen the Wild Ghost since?”
As he spoke, the blond man entered the small house and looked around.
Su Cheng shook his head. “No. I’ve been preparing supplies for the winter these past few days, constantly going back and forth to the Ruined City.”
The blond man glanced at the cloth bag filled with inferior nutritional solution.
Brainless asked mechanically, “Welcome. How may we assist you? Prosthetic-body repairs or maintenance?”
The blond man frowned slightly. “Forget it. Nothing’s wrong for now. Let’s go.”
With that, the two men walked outside.
Su Cheng followed them and asked with some concern, “Is the Wild Ghost really dead? Will we be in danger living here?”

The blond man patted his chest. “We’re members of the Death Rock Gang. As long as you’ve paid, your safety is guaranteed. Don’t worry.”
Su Cheng relaxed slightly. “That’s good.”
The pierced man suddenly barked, “What you just said had better be true, or I’ll kill you when the time comes!”
Su Cheng extended a hand. “If I could, I’d like to kill him too. But I’m an unmodified human.”
“All right. We understand the situation now. If you hear anything, remember to tell us. We’ll come back for the money in a few days.”
With that, the pierced man was pulled onto the motorcycle by his companion, and they drove toward the other occupied houses.
The pierced man glared fiercely at Su Cheng as he returned indoors. “That kid looked fine, but he was extremely hostile toward us. And he’s selfish—he only cares about his own safety.”
The two of them had played the parts of good cop and bad cop, working together to throw their target off balance and make him reveal telltale signs.
“Of course he was hostile. If someone came demanding money from you, would you be friendly? That’s precisely why his reaction was reasonable.”
The blond man analyzed the situation. “His response was perfectly normal. Besides, there’s no way he could have killed the Wild Ghost. An unmodified human is incredibly fragile. Black Bull was stupid, but there’s even less chance he could have been killed by one.”
“Let’s question the next person. And this time, don’t overdo the act. You were jumping at every little thing.”
“Got it. What a nuisance. I was trying to scare him and make him panic.”
…
Su Cheng put away the nutritional solution.
Those two men had clearly come because of the Revelry Camp.
He had pretended to answer their questions from the perspective of someone who knew nothing.
He had also occasionally asked questions of his own, taking control of the rhythm of the conversation.
Finally, displaying his unmodified body had been the strongest evidence.
In everyone’s understanding, an unmodified human could never kill a modified person.
The strength of an unmodified human could not possibly match that of a prosthetic body.
Although the whole process had appeared highly dangerous, it had in fact been quite dangerous.
“How was that? Did I act convincingly?”
Brainless slapped his own face proudly.
“Too fake. That low-intelligence greeting was obsolete long ago.”
“Get lost. You’re just jealous because my acting is better than yours!”
Su Cheng picked up the nutritional solution and activated the Eye of Dimensions, rapidly synthesizing two Type-D Enhancement Potions.
Then he took a Type-C Advanced Enhancement Potion from the safe.
The Type-C Advanced Enhancement Potion was injectable. He aimed the injector at his shoulder and pressed it down.
A concealed needle instantly pierced his skin, and the potion was slowly forced into his body by air pressure.
