Chapter 155: The Blade Demon Commander Chakra

Since a boss had been discovered, naturally they had to go and take a look. Whether they could defeat it or not was a secondary matter; at the very least, they had to check it out.

Just by looking at their appearance, one could tell they were not to be messed with, and that applied entirely to the one they were looking at.

There was no need to test; any fool could tell this was an extremely overpowered boss.

"Boss, what should we do? Should we send someone to test the waters first?"

Everyone looked at Wind and Cloud Dominance and asked. No matter how strong the boss was, they still had to test it first.

Anyway, they had so many people and plenty of support. Even if a few went down, they could be resurrected quickly.

"All right, everyone step back a bit. Send ten people to test out the boss's attributes first."

Wind and Cloud Dominance arranged for ten guild members to act as cannon fodder; all they needed to do was probe the boss's attributes.

Zhang Shan observed carefully. Even though those ten people were killed by the boss before getting close, it didn't mean that this Chakra was a ranged attack boss.

It was indeed a melee boss, but Chakra's movement speed and attack execution were extremely fast, launching an attack before the players could even get close.

As for instantly killing a warrior with twenty thousand HP, that was completely normal.

The Queen Ant they fought previously could deal over ten thousand damage with every hit.

This Chakra was clearly much stronger, and dealing thirty to fifty thousand damage with a single slash was effortless.

"Of course not. What if the boss wipes us all out with a single move? Wouldn't that be a joke?"

"I'll go test it out. The boss probably can't one-shot me."

Little Secretary stepped forward and said.

He should be the Guardian Warrior with the best gear in the Wind and Cloud Guild.

His HP was close to fifty thousand, so the boss shouldn't be able to kill him in one hit.

As long as he closed the distance to charging range, he could use the Charge skill on the boss.

Target-locked attacks could not be used during the charging process, but once the Charge skill was executed, he was guaranteed to land a single blow of damage.

In that case, they would be able to see the boss's attributes and skills.

"All right, go ahead and test it."

Wind and Cloud Little Secretary rushed forward, and Chakra's blade light swept across once again.

Flowing Light Slash: Chakra's massive blade unleashes a streak of flowing light, increasing damage by one hundred percent.

Mastery of Blade Techniques: The Blade Demon Commander is proficient in blade arts, increasing blade-type damage by one hundred percent.

Will of the Demon God: Summons a trace of the Demon God's will to assist in combat.

Rampant Blade of All Directions: An enraged Chakra executes his peerless blade art, sending blade light slashing in all directions, dealing five times the damage within a 50-yard radius.

Holy Demon Protection: A protective status bestowed by the holy demons upon invading demon warriors, reducing damage taken by fifty percent. Becomes inactive after crossing the Heavenly Gate Pass.

"Holy shit, once the boss unleashes this ultimate skill, wouldn't it obliterate everything in heaven and earth? Who can possibly block that?"

Zhang Shan calculated the damage. The boss's base attack power was 18,000.

The first skill was a minor skill and couldn't stack with the damage of the ultimate skill, so that went without saying.

However, the second skill was the boss's inherent status skill.

It was similar to Zhang Shan's Zeal, except it surely didn't last for only six seconds like Zhang Shan's skill.

If the skill description didn't specify otherwise, its effect was basically permanent.

Calculating it that way, the boss's ultimate skill would be five times 36,000.

That totaled 180,000 damage. What the hell, this is way too strong; even the Panda Baby couldn't withstand it.

You had to know that the Panda Baby's current HP was only a little over 120,000, which meant it couldn't tank it at all.

If even the Panda Baby couldn't withstand it, there was no need to mention anyone else.

That meant they would have to fight the boss without anyone tanking the monsters, which made things rather difficult.
