A strong recommendation for the new novel "Beast Demon Fox Immortal" by the fiery YY Warcraft, a writer known for his works of debauchery. You won't be disappointed—book number: 144106.

Ignoring that burning gaze with utter indifference, Boss Li stretched out a finger, exhaling sharply through his nose. "I'm going to count now. If you don't tell the truth by the time I reach three, hmph, don't blame me for being ruthless."

The little creature cooperatively bent its hind legs atop Boss Li's shoulder, assuming a sprinter's stance.

The Immortal Infant's face turned deathly pale in an instant. Though protected by celestial armor, it likely wouldn't withstand an ordinary bite, and judging from the way that fat pig dragged him out of his fleshly body just moments ago, it was clear he had no fear of the defensive formations on the celestial armor—perhaps he could even ignore them altogether.

Death itself was not so terrifying; what was truly dreadful was being unable to escape, even in spirit.

The Immortal Infant began to weigh his options.

"Three!" Boss Li shouted abruptly, a contemptuous smile curling his lips.

Even Little Shadow was bewildered by this sudden shout.

The Immortal Infant trembled. "Damn it, you haven't even counted one or two yet!"

Boss Li raised his hand and slapped him twice across the face. "Because I damn well feel like it!" He then shook his hand, adding, "Dare to curse at me? Son, go!"

The little creature had been longing for this moment. At its father's command, it shot forward with a swish, opened its not-so-large mouth, and bit down on the Immortal Infant's finger. With a forceful yank, it tore the finger off, chewed it, and swallowed it.

The Immortal Infant, for all his backbone, didn't utter a sound, but the pain that pierced his very soul made his body convulse violently.

Boss Li was savoring the Immortal Infant's agony when suddenly a warning came from Gu Linglong: "Careful!" At the same time, he felt a chill at his back. Startled, he instantly directed two hundred and forty flying swords behind him for defense, grabbed the dazed Little Shadow, and darted forward.

A fierce clash of swords ensued. Once Boss Li steadied himself, the chill at his back lingered. He glanced at Little Shadow in his arms—she had yet to recover from the horrific scene she'd just witnessed.

He pinched her cheek. "Girl, snap out of it!" Then he turned his back to her. "Are you hurt?"

Little Shadow glanced at his back as instructed. The once-white robe now bore a foot-long gash. Her heart leapt into her throat. She reached out and touched it for a long moment before finally saying, "Just the robe is torn; I'm not hurt."

"Damn!" Boss Li spat viciously, looked up at the sky, and yelled, "Qiu Feng, you idiot! So many people, and you can't keep an eye on just one?"

The one who had launched the sneak attack on Li Chengzhu was none other than an immortal being besieged by Gu Linglong, Qiu Feng, and two other masters in the Great Ascension stage.

Gu Linglong flushed with embarrassment at Boss Li's outburst, biting her lip in silence. Her hand gestures, however, grew ever faster. The butterfly hovered around the immortal like a real butterfly, darting in to strike from time to time.

Since earlier, Gu Linglong had led the group in besieging this immortal, but their strength still fell short; they simply couldn't restrain him. The situation was slightly better on Yuan Mu's end—as he wielded the celestial artifact Meteor gifted by Boss Li, he could muster three attacks amid seven rounds of defense.

Qiu Feng shot Boss Li a venomous glare before plunging back into the fray.

Boss Li wiped his mouth, exhaled, and glowered at the struggling Immortal Infant in his grasp. "Time is short. I’ll give you one last chance!"

The Immortal Infant gave a bleak laugh, turned his head away, and fell silent.

"Fine!" Boss Li gritted his teeth and nodded. "Son, finish him!"

At his words, the little creature pounced like a tiger upon a helpless lamb, tearing into the Immortal Infant.

Crunch, crunch...

Crunch, crunch...

Little Shadow could bear it no longer. She stepped in front of the little creature, her trembling hand reaching out to stroke its head, doing her best not to look at the Immortal Infant's pained expression. "Be good. Don't make those noises when you're eating."

After speaking, Little Shadow couldn't hold out any longer. She covered her mouth and fled to the side.

Boss Li chuckled coldly to himself.

In no time, the little creature had devoured the Immortal Infant completely, leaving only the celestial armor behind. With its master's soul imprint gone, the once-radiant armor now lay dull and lusterless.

Boss Li swept the armor into his Blood Jade Ring, then walked over to the hula hoop, picked it up, and tossed it into the ring as well.

The battle still raged. Though Boss Li had managed to take one immortal by surprise and eliminate him, the remaining two were still formidable. If nothing unexpected happened, there was an eighty percent chance the Rainbow City battle squad would be buried here.

With her low cultivation, Little Shadow was powerless to help—she could only watch from below, a silent cheerleader.

Boss Li observed the situation closely. With one immortal down, the remaining two were growing anxious. It seemed that only a formation would suffice. After some thought, Boss Li reached this conclusion. Having witnessed the little creature's prowess, those two immortals would be on high alert against him now; sneak attacks were no longer the trend.

The advantage on his side was the presence of two idle experts. If he could set up a formation to bolster his team's power, their chances of victory would soar.

As for which formation, Boss Li had already made up his mind.

During the intervals between battles at Red Rock Plateau, Boss Li would always recover his spiritual energy quickly. In his spare time, he sought advice from other cultivators.

War had lessened the barriers between sects, and those cultivators, whether intentionally or not, revealed some of the most useful knowledge they possessed.

Boss Li, being exceptionally clever, managed to learn at least a few things he hadn't known before.

This time, Boss Li resolved to set up a Six Harmonies Universe Formation. This formation could boost the strength of a single person within the array by up to fifty percent, but it required someone to serve as the array's focal point.

Although the Six Harmonies Universe Formation only increased one person's strength, what if that power was bestowed on Yuan Mu? With his strength augmented by half, even an immortal would be hard-pressed to match him. As for the array core, Boss Li would take on that responsibility himself. After all, his own Nascent Soul was infused with celestial spiritual energy, allowing for greater resonance with Yuan Mu and a fuller use of the formation's power.

Having made up his mind, Boss Li instructed Little Shadow and the little creature to keep a close watch for any further sneak attacks from the two immortals.

Boss Li was nervous—immortals were simply too powerful.
