Chapter 114: One Against a Hundred
The lobby of the Tianlong Hotel was bustling. Guests were dining, and waitresses moved busily among the tables, serving dishes.
Suddenly, a young man strode into the lobby.
"Welcome, sir. How many in your party?" a waitress asked with a bright smile.
"Just me," Jiang Hao replied indifferently.
"Please, follow me," the waitress said, preparing to lead him to a small two-person table in the corner.
But Jiang Hao shook his head and said seriously, "I’m not here to eat."
"What? If you aren't here to eat at the Tianlong Hotel, then why are you here?" the waitress asked, looking bewildered.
Jiang Hao flashed a devilish smile and walked straight to the center of the lobby. His actions drew the attention of many. Two security guards began to approach him, and diners nearby set down their chopsticks, watching him with suspicion.
Seemingly oblivious to his surroundings, Jiang Hao took a deep breath and let out a thunderous roar that echoed through the entire establishment:
"Zhao Tianlong, get your damn self out here and face me!"
The shout shook the entire hotel, causing tables to vibrate and window glass to rattle. The nearby guests felt their heads spin and their chests tighten from the sheer force of the sound. The two approaching security guards were so startled that they stumbled backward, eventually collapsing to the floor in a heap.
The once-noisy lobby fell into a sudden, deathly silence. Everyone stared at Jiang Hao in shock, unable to tear their eyes away. What was this kid thinking? Did he dare to stir up trouble at the Tianlong Hotel? Didn't he know that the big boss of the hotel was none other than Zhao Tianlong, the notorious leader of the Tianlong Group?
Ignoring the stunned gazes around him, Jiang Hao roared again.
"Zhao Tianlong! You sent your men to smash up my wife’s restaurant. Now that I’m here in person, come out if you have the guts. Don't hide like a coward!"
His roar finally snapped the onlookers out of their stupor.
The hotel security guards immediately drew their riot batons and began marching toward Jiang Hao with aggressive intent. These guards were all young men associated with the Tianlong Group, accustomed to fighting, and they had no intention of being polite to someone causing trouble. Even without a direct order from Zhao Tianlong, they were already preparing to beat Jiang Hao into submission.
"Oh no!"
"Let's get out of here!"
"A fight is about to break out!"
Panicked, the diners scrambled from their seats, fleeing toward the exit without even settling their bills. The cashier could do nothing but watch helplessly as they flooded out.
A dozen guards had now surrounded Jiang Hao.
"Who do you think you are, coming to the Tianlong Hotel to cause trouble? Is your life that worthless?"
"Kid, have you forgotten who you are?"
"Damn it, why waste words? Just beat him!"
After a chorus of angry shouts, the guards swung their batons at Jiang Hao. He remained unfazed, his expression calm and unmoving. As the guards swarmed him like turbulent waves crashing from all sides, Jiang Hao stood with his hands behind his back, as steady and immovable as a reef against the tide.
Up on the third-floor balcony, Zhao Tianlong gripped the wooden railing, his eyes locked on Jiang Hao below. A grim, sinister smile spread across his face.
"So this is Su Qingli’s husband, Jiang Hao?"
Hearing the question, Huang Ya nodded hurriedly. "Yes, that’s him. My brothers and I fell at his hands."
"Good. Then I’ll see for myself if he really has any skill or martial arts ability."
No sooner had Zhao Tianlong spoken than a scream echoed from the lobby. He looked down at Huang Ya with a cold sneer. "Giving up so soon? Doesn't look like much. Huang Ya, was it just you and your men who were too weak to handle him?"
Huang Ya, however, looked frantic. He pointed downward and stammered, "Boss Tianlong, look! The one who isn't holding up isn't Jiang Hao—it's our men!"
Zhao Tianlong’s expression changed, and he quickly looked back down. In the blink of an eye, several guards were already sprawled on the floor, unable to rise. The scream he had heard had come from one of them.
In the lobby, facing a group of guards that vastly outnumbered him, Jiang Hao still wore a faint smile. With his left hand tucked in his pocket, he moved nimbly among the guards, his right hand striking out with precise punches and palms. Every guard he hit was sent flying by a massive force, collapsing to the ground with wails of pain, unable to stand back up.
This was the true power of Jiang Hao! His punches appeared effortless, yet they carried astonishing force. He was channeling the heat within his body directly into his strikes. Every punch was an eruption of this energy—a force no ordinary person could withstand.
*Bang!*
A guard held his iron riot baton diagonally across his chest in a desperate attempt to block, but Jiang Hao’s fist slammed directly into it. By all accounts, the sturdy iron baton should have absorbed the impact. Yet, from the third floor, Zhao Tianlong and Huang Ya watched in horror as the baton bent under the force of the blow, digging deep into the guard's chest. The man coughed up blood and flew three or four meters before hitting the ground. His ribs were certainly broken in more than one place. It wasn't a fatal wound, but he would be confined to a hospital bed for months.
"What terrifying power..."
Zhao Tianlong’s face grew increasingly pale. He had initially thought Huang Ya was lying to him, exaggerating Jiang Hao’s skill. Now, he realized that Huang Ya hadn't exaggerated at all—he had severely underestimated him! The power Jiang Hao displayed was simply not something an ordinary human could possess.
